Tzini Shower
Tzini's wedding will Iy"h be on January 15th.
Tehilla is preparing a shower for her and she would like to start purchasing gifts a.s.a.p to avoid the last minute rush. (The exact date of the shower is not yet decided but will be posted when it is decided)
If anyone would can and would like to chip in to buy as many gifts as possible please do one of the following
A) Mail a check to Tehilla, her address is 605 East New York Ave apt #3LB Brooklyn NY 11203
B) Call her and let her know her know that you would like to give her money her cell number is 347-228-7561 and house number is 718-552-2671

i dont mean to be rude, but if somenone is collecting for a shower, dont you think they should be calling people up?!!?
i think that it is only right, thats what freinds are for(not just showers, but you get my drift!:)......any comments??

i think that this shower biz is taken a bit out of perspective.
if you are willing to be kind to an old classmate and give her a wedding gift, you should probably seek out ways to do that!
in this technological, high-strung world we live in, we kinda expect things to just come our way automatically. but things like chesed and ahavat yisrael don't have to take on that "express" style.
be so kind, pick up the phone and find out where you can send your checks to help out a friend.
don't care? don't bother.

ok, first of all WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH MAKING LIFE EASIER??? the only problem with putting it on the blog is that tzini might see it....

I came online especially to just sourt out this argument and give ya'll my thoughts on all the above comments....
what the heck is up with all that?
Is there not enough going on in the world, in the community around you that you need to find s/t else to argue and pull apart. there is not one thing wrong with the fact that someone is kind enough to put together a shower to help out a bride to start her home and i have put together a shower b/4 and it is an endless amount of work so anyway to make it easier is wonderful, and all that you can find to say about that is to critisice? Is there s/t wrong with me or is there something wrong with whoever you are who feels it necisary to anonymously post comments on a blog which let me guess probably (let me stress probably b/c i may be wrong) is not meant for you.
Once again as was mentioned times before this blog is for friends by friends and if a/o has any negative comments, statements or any of the such they can fly down to where i am located and take it up with me!

wow! quite an interesting comment...absolutely not right, btw, because organizing a shower IS A HUGE MIZVAH, no matter which way you go about it.
however, this actually made me think about something, remember when it was rochies shower and people were sooo sooo upset they didnt recieve a phone calls and complained about it, on no less, this same blog!!?? WHY didnt you just pick up the phone (i am sure you heard about it, so dont blame it on no posts on the blog...blah blah blah..) to call her hard working friends? Just think about that before judging the people who called and the people who expect to be called.
moral of this story-those who want to criticize will do so in either circumstances as seen with these two incidents. if you are such a person maybe you should rethink your priorities and outlooks on life and relationships.
Please, for YOUR sake.
I hope no one is insulted by this, i am only mentioning it as a thought to ponder on.
